In September,8th,2020,we,JUDU valve get the order 8pc of DN80,PN10,CuNi90/10 Pressure Regulating Valves.
For us who have been committed to the production of special material valves more than 15 years, we think that the casting process may be similar to that of C95800, but the difficulty of the casting process was beyond our imagination in 2020, After 8 casting failures, the casting problem was finally solved.

CuNi90/10, also known as C70600 or B10 alloy, the alloy is mainly composed of 90% copper (Cu) and 10% nickel (Ni), containing trace elements such as iron (Fe) and manganese (Mn).
chemical media. It has high strength, hardness and toughness, is not prone to brittle fracture, and can withstand pressure, impact and fatigue loads. Its wear resistance makes it suitable for long-term use under complex working conditions and prolongs the life of the equipment. Also has good physical and processing properties.
But this material CuNi90/10 is extremely sensitive to temperature when it is cast. Whether it is pouring or taking out of the furnace, if the temperature is not well controlled, the casting will crack. In addition, in the extremely cold winter, the probability of casting cracking is much higher than in the summer. Also welding is difficult. Although welding is possible, heat input needs to be controlled to avoid intergranular corrosion. Specialized equipment and technical support may be required.
Although CuNi90/10 has strictly requirements on the casting process and high cost, its excellent performance makes it adapt to a variety of complex industrial environments.

1. Marine engineering and shipbuilding industry
Suitable for strong corrosive media environments such as seawater and salt water, it can be used for regulating valves in ship piping systems, offshore platform pipelines and seawater desalination equipment. Its seawater corrosion resistance is due to the dense oxide film formed by nickel elements.
2. Chemical and petroleum industry
It can transport corrosive liquids (such as acid and alkali solutions, brine) and high-temperature media, ensuring the sealing and corrosion resistance of the pipeline system. It is suitable for flow control of equipment such as reactors and distillation towers.
3. Fresh water and water treatment systems
It exhibits excellent fresh water corrosion resistance in tap water and sewage treatment pipes and is suitable for use in pressure regulation and flow control components in water treatment plants.
4. Electrical and electronic auxiliary systems
Taking advantage of its good electrical conductivity, it can be used in regulating valves for electrical equipment cooling systems or electrolyte delivery pipelines, taking into account both corrosion resistance and electrical conductivity requirements.
CuNi90/10 Pressure Regulating Valves play an important role in many industries with their excellent performance characteristics. When selecting valves, the material, performance and other factors of the valve should be considered comprehensively according to the specific use environment and requirements.

A control valve are a device that controls the flow of liquids or gases in systems. Think of it like a faucet, when you turn the handle, you manage how much water come out. In industires, Control Valve play an important role. They help hand...
Titanium and stainless steel is two common materials for making valves. Valves are key parts in machines that control flow of liquids or gases. JUDU make these valves special, and we get lots of questions about which material are better. Both titaniu...
In liquid piping systems with high pressure differential, the control valve is not only the core of flow control but also a "battlefield" for intense fluid energy conversion. When the pressure differential across the valve is excessively la...
Under extreme operating conditions such as power plant boilers, petrochemical hydrogenation units, and supercritical systems, the coupled effects of high temperature (>350°C) and high pressure (>10 MPa) expose valve seals to multiple failure risks, i...
